I don’t make New Year’s resolutions anymore. I stopped doing that about 8 years ago. For some time I made year mottos, but that only last 3 years. Now, I just try and live a good life and become a better person. Do you set New Year’s resolutions still? If so, what are some of yours for this year?
I hope you all had a good New Year week. We certainly did, even if both us got sick again…
I am so over being sick.
We did a lot of different things these past two weeks and had a great time doing it. Let’s get started.
We had a friends dinner shortly after New Years. Me, David, Jamie, Scott, Taylour, Cole, and Bailee.
David sowed up some of our couch pillows that the dogs opened.
While not our Christmas Tree, we took down decorations after New Years. It wasn’t as sad as it has been in the past, but felt good to do a little cleaning at the same time.
We met up with our friends and their dogs from Cottonwood Creek Doodles, for a doggy play date. Georgia, Theo, and Indie with Boston in the distance.
We really wanted to get Boston together with new dogs so he can socialize. He is always scared at first, but once he starts playing with the dogs, he warms up.
Georgia getting ready to pounce on Boston.
While Boston did well, he still spends a lot of time by his Dads.
Theo is still quite the jumper.
He always lands fine, despite how he looks in the air.
Don’t let the sun fool you, it was very cold.
The Wasatch mountains are always so beautiful.
Before we left, we let the dogs run up some dirt mounds. David, Theo, and Boston.
This last week, David and I toured the Salt Lake Home Show. We walked through the whole place in under 15 minutes. It wasn’t for us, haha.
We also celebrated the January birthdays with the Swains. Mike, Lydia, and me. We had a tasty pineapple upside-down cake, and red jello cake.
One of the gifts I got at the birthday dinner I used right away. I love this foot spa.
